About

I am a prolific creator of many things, all of which come from a desire to entertain or provoke thought in other humans - to study the elements of harmony and chaos, or to play with natural principles such as gravity, wind, space, negative space, and associative forms. With a lifelong passion to connect with other people through mutual enjoyment of art, music and theatre much of my life revolves around areas where these things flourish.

I really enjoy how different mediums of expression, suit different tones of expression and that the catalogue of artistic forms left for us by those who went before, is of many novel ideas which allow humans to communicate with each other on a level transcending the verbal or mundane.

As an Arts/Entertainment technician by profession, I am fortunate to have spent watching a lot of great shows, and have met some terrific artists in my time. I aspire to promote arts and music throughout my personal and professional works, and produce events which support the growth and development of artistic culture. It has been a mark of my independent entrepreneurial efforts to educate and inspire through involving other people in community events which inspire people to get involved in active physical and intellectual entertainment.

While my life has ended up on stage and screen, my start to life was in the bush of southern NSW and I always include some “bush magic”, Australiana in my works. The Australian arts and staging industry has been carefully built over 60,000 years and includes some terrific intricacies, customs and references unique to the region and geography. I have been very lucky to work for companies which were and remain instrumental to the industry, and I am honoured to know many fine people whom have taught me so much about the very real intricacies of the creative arts. Yet, I will learn much more over my lifetime and for those reasons I seek constant refinement of process by way of receiving instruction - and I am always happy to talk shop about the industry.
